De Wildt is a wildlife conservation project focusing on the preservation of endangered species, in particular the cheetah. Since 1974 Scientists at De Wildt have been studying and successfully breeding cheetah and other rare animals for release into the wild. The station is set in the bushveld of Magaliesberg.

Encounter a unique wildlife experience at De Wildt. See cheetah, wild dog, brown hyena, antelope, suni, nyalas, blue duikers, various species of vultures and indigenous owls, right up close.
The Cheetah Centre in South Africa was established in 1971, initially as a cheetah breeding project and the Centre has during the past 40 years bred over 800 cheetah cubs.
We are happy to announce that we now have a family tour which can accommodate families with children under the age of six.
Tours are held on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 13h30, Wednesdays at 08h30 and 13h30.
